Key Health Silver plan: This plan has unlimited hospital cover paid at 100% of the key health rates. Adequate day to day benefits are included. Premiums commence at R2122 per month.
Key Health Gold plan: This plan pays up to 100% of scheme rates for unlimited hospital cover. A generous day to day benefit is included as well as a medical savings account. Cover starts from R2830 per month.
Key Health Platinum plan: This is the most comprehensive plan with 100% scheme rates cover for hospital benefits. It includes very generous day to day cover up to R7010 for the principle member with additional cover for other beneficiaries. Cover commences at R4630 per month.
The Key Health Health booster plan: This plan is included in all the options. The main focus of the health booster plan is preventative treatment. Some of the health booster benefits are:
• Preventative care; including immunizations, vaccinations and flu shots.
• Early detection tests: pap smears, mammograms, prostate tests, heath assessment and HIV/AIDS tests and counselling.
• Screening tests like blood pressure and cholesterol.
• A weight loss program.
• Maternity benefits including consultations and scans. This benefit needs to be pre-authorised.
Children up to the age of 21 pay child rates, these rates are extended for students up to the age of 25.
