CompCare MedX

This is a budget plan for graduates just getting into the job market. It is ideal for young professionals hoping to have families in the future. It is a hospital plan that will guarantee you unlimited cover in any private hospital. This includes cover for treatment of 27 conditions listed under the prescribed minimum benefits (PMB).

Other benefits of the MedX cover include ambulance services provided by NetCare 911. You will also be covered rehabilitation treatment after a surgery.

If you feel the contributions for the MedX plan are too much of a strain, there’s an option for you. The MedXEfficiency Discounted option will see you pay slightly lower premiums but still access quality care exclusively from Netcare hospitals.

CompCare Unisave

If you wish to invest a little more to expand your healthcare options, consider the Unisave plan. This plan allows you to pay only for what you use. What you don’t use to your cover’s limit is carried forward into the next year.

With Unisave you will be entitled to full cover for in-hospital treatment. You will be covered for treatment for all PMB conditions as well as Netcare 911 ambulance services. This is the plan for professionals who want to comprehensively take care of their families’ healthcare needs. In addition to these benefits and emergency care, you will be entitled to oncology treatment. What sets this plan apart is that it caters for 37 chronic conditions. This is more than the basic 27 listed under PMB.

CompCare Pinnacle 

The highest level of cover you can get with CompCare is the Pinnacle plan. This plan offers comprehensive outpatient benefits including unlimited GP and dentist visits. If your treatment necessitates an overnight stay in hospital, you will be admitted to a private ward.
